The characters in this book to me are very curious. I like the way they figured out problems when they really need to. These characters are very quick thinkers and know what to do when in trouble.

The role of the main character is very Inportant becasue he matures and he has to use his skills more and but them to the test. Other character are different because they look up to him, they still have to put their mind to the test but still look up to the main character.

I feel bad for the boy and the friend, the reason why is because he ran way and in this map they found there is this one rock that at the top there water. But to climb it's straight so it's hard. They finally reach the top and ate. They came down and he now lives with his friend with all the gold they found.
