meh, lots of stuff, lots of talking, and very little killing.

I don't understand why there was a new character introduced around page 100, with the demon. Why not either, introduce him with the other two characters near the beginning, or just leave him out entirely and put him in another book.

I learned how to return books on amazon. I wish I knew that before.

uggh. hard to read because of telling. plot seems random. ideas are ok, but it ... well, watching the interviews with ann ryand, she said enjoy the spectacle. this book is pretty rapey.

Hard to put down. Some of the chapters are really short.

This will probably be the only book I'll ever read without wizards or space ships.

810 pages. That's what I have read so far. And I have learned nothing about the human condition, my life earth or... wellness I learned that Keyes didn't finish a poem, and died of tb. I hate poetry and now i know why.

It's not fair! Because in 15 years old and I still think life should be fair. Idiot.

Most of the characters motivations seem tacked on.

I got tired of all the protagonist switching. The pattern story was the most interesting and Mr. Stormlight dude. The rest is just boaring.

I pretty much skipped chapter one. Reads better that way.

Getting excited. It's almost over.
Caracter motivations are unbalevable. Gen. Doofus says, I want to kill you. And the strike. Why? Cus... why?
The mouth or whatever, I wanna kill she strike because the hemogony or oysters or whatever destroyed my fav. Plannet? Sure. Dad is gonna give his baby over to she strike cus... he's old? Oh I'm pretty sure the baby is metal lady. Saw that one coming.

This book lacks focus. Just switched from robot narration through a limited perspective to third person omneciant. Again. The strike motive seems arbitrary, as well as all the characters really.

You know, I just read that story day before yesterday, you dont have to tell it to me again.

O wow. So, the movie titanic copied you. Huh.

Read a whole dang book of freaking backstory, and now i have to read more damn backstory? About someone else that I dont care about?

Here is hoping that this one will be a seamless story instead of a hodgepodge of short stories.

This book is just a series of short stories tied together. The characters motivations are not believable.

So... the church said do as the strike told you. Now they wont let him do it? This is just lazy writing. I'm sorry dude, this part sucks. It's very obvious you were on a bender high, or just didn't care. I can think of 5 better things to do than what this character is doing. And at least two of them make sense.
1. Travel at light speed 24 years.
2. Live a normalish live and enjoy the time u have with your kid duh.

Ok, wife and husband have the same dream for 18 years, and just now the mrs talks about it? And mom says yes, we need to burn our child and sacrafice her to the lord of pain?
