Okay here we go the plot is moving forward! A lot of groundwork laid in the beginning which made the pacing feel a lot slower but I'm enjoying the faster pace

Couldn't decide what book to start so I used a spin wheel and this was chosen for me. Let's just say it's uncanny how similar the MC is to my own (unpublished and unfinished) MC idea.

Also, I cannot shake the feeling that this book is like an even split between The Raven Cycle and The Secret History. Those are the two books that immediately came to mind once I got a few chapters in.

Why is it that every year, when my family asks what I want for Christmas, they refuse to get me books when I say that's what I want? Apparently it's a "boring" gift? Not to me?

I just unhauled so many books that I either didn't like or lost interest in reading. Does anyone know of any charities that take book donations? I'd rather do that than sell. Thanks! :)
