I need to take a second to say that this child-hero support group is literally the worst support group in history. It would be like an AA adviors telling his attendees that they should consume more alcohol so no one else will be able to drink it. Like, what???

****Spoiler?************I don't know if I'm misreading this or if Este hasn't quite clicked with what happened or perhaps she's ignoring it. But it sounds to me that Matteo and gang purposely brought back the fades, which are a danger to Este and the other students, just so they can come back to life (despite the fact that no one would remember them) rather than just move on like the others. Seems kind of selfish. :(

I hope this gets better. I'm not super into it right now. I kind of hate the main character with this giant chip on their shoulder and despite what she claims, it's like she's trying to get kicked out of this school.

I just read Maureen Johnson's story in this book and I have some mixed feelings about it. I think overall I really liked it as I was busting a gut laughing at the ridiculousness of it. Especially Stuart's mom, like WTF lady. Plus this story would be a lot different if Stuart was ugly. Because this story could have become a horror story really easy, but because she protrayed him as cute and charming it was okay, yeah.
