I enjoy Thompson's writing. I have only read 5 so far, but will order another just as soon as I sign off here. I am not much for reviews, I will only say he keeps my attention. I don't know of a better recommendation.

I enjoyed the book, I will be looking for more by Dan in the future. Things are slow here in the RV as I finish the proofing stage of my next book.
Westerns are my go-to books for relaxation. This one was no exception. The book did keep my interest, although I do not retain much, that tells me the plot is good. I seldom finish a book where the author does not set the hook in the first couple chapters.

I think I am going to like it. The author had come up with a couple strong characters. Looking forward to reading this.

I enjoyed the book, both writing it and reading it. It is a spoof about a kid forced to go on an over night camping trip. The trip changes his life forever. On the AT he meets Jerry Wiley a very wealthy man who lives in his home town.

This was a 'sweet' quick read. I enjoyed the few surprises. Nice twist at times. I have read 3 of Ron's books. I just met him thru these books and was looking forward to any more Westerns. I was so sorry to read of his passing.
