I’m only 20% in to this book and I already feel like I’m on the 3rd or 4th story. Is everything going to connect at some point or is this supposed to feel like a bunch of short stories?

I’m definitely hooked

It’s been good, but haven’t wanted to listen to audio books at the moment!

Since school started, he’s finally reading again!!!

I feel like I’ve waited so long for this I forgot it existed and now I’m so excited to be starting it because I feel like I’ll love it!

Had to switch to the audiobook because the way they talk is annoying to read, but easier to listen to. Lol

There is a particular phrase a specific character uses that I could do without…

I may finish this today or tomorrow and I’m not sure I’m ready. This has been so fun.

I love Saskia Maarleveld and Kate Quinn, I also loved the Midnight Library. This is shaping up to be a good combo.
The foster care stuff gave me some feels but not enough to stop.

Daughter of Egypt was a more entertaining read so this one got pushed to the back for a minute

I’ve been waiting a while for this one, I’m 7 minutes in and already in love with the narrator’s and I can just tell this is gonna pull me in like a tidal wave. I HAVE to take a break on my other book even though I’m really liking it, this takes precedence!

This is giving Fredrik Backman and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine vibes and I’m here for it! I had a feeling I’d love it!

Didn’t finish it before it was returned! It’ll be roughly 5 weeks before I get it back. :(

Hoping to meet the author next month so I can tell her how I’m enjoying it!

I’ve been multitasking while I listen to this and I’ve found lately that I haven’t been paying enough attention so I’ve started to lose some interest. My goal is to only listen to it when I can give it my full attention.

How is this just something that I stumbled upon?? I didn’t watch Dance Moms when it was on because of Abby but, it’s amazing hearing Nia’s story and I can’t help but watch clips now. I’m so glad she chose to use her voice and tell her truth.

Time to get back into this! She’s coming out with a new book this year (that I probably won’t read) but also, we’re coming up on a year from when I met her and she signed this book. I can’t possibly see her again and NOT have read this. lol

I like bits and pieces of this, but I start to feel bored when I think about how I still have 8+ hours left… I think it’d be easier to enjoy if it was half as long.
