Chapter 19 is yet another rant about writing for money and I'm getting tired. I understand now why people say R. F. Kuang is heavy handed and doesn't understand subtlety.

I can't stand the narrator anymore but I'm guessing that's the point.

I haven't been updating this very much because I've mostly been reading technical and educational books as I'm doing a masters degree but I thought I could add some things here

Im finding it really hard to keep reading the book. The author is really self obsessed and only talks about herself the whole time, without any sort of learning along the way. In many cases she even says she used to need attention a lot, but now. it's not the case, which is really ironic as all she does. is talk about unimportant and common events in her life as if they were somehow special for everyone else.

It feels a bit weird to be reading the origin of Wolverine before reading any other Wolverine comics. This has more to do with my reading guide order, in which I'm following a chronological reference. I don't know if these ones are the best, but I wouldn't know where to start otherwise so I think this is as good as it gets.
