'Criminal' reads like a great, epic novel, broken up into richly textured episodes. And there's something about holding this hardcover edition, like it's this dense, tactile 'thing,' that adds to the reading experience.

Thoroughly enjoying 'Suttree.' Dense, wordy, rich, and descriptive, it's a truly a unique read.

This is pretty fun to listen to via Audible (I'm not in love with the narration...). The bit about director Billy Wilder living just off the women's bathroom is a riot!! Looking forward to going to the CM the next time I'm in LA.

This lean, mean story flows with authentic detail, great characters, and genuine dialogue. Really digging it!

I'm really enjoying listening to Michael tell his story. There's so much to the K-Man we didn't know! At this point in the audiobook, he's deep into Kramer. His devotion to making Kramer as memorable as he could be is truly commendable. He also tells the story of his Miami Vice episode, it's both cringeworthy and hilarious.

Listening to this through Audible. Loving it! Listening to him read his own story is so fun. Learning so much! He doesn't hold back, it's very revealing.

Man, this is beautiful. It's like Tom Waits meets Hemingway. Reading it slow so I can savor it.

just two poems in and one of my favorite lines is '... there is a hell with a devil two shades redder than Oklahoma dirt', so good

I hate, hate, hate to give up on anything, but I just can't get into this. In all fairness, it's a book I think I should read, not a book I want to read. Gotta move on.
