right, it has picked up substantially and gotten a little easier to track! the characters remain pretty hollow mind you, and i don’t think that’s ever going to change. i can see how every bit of cyberpunk sci fi since has been inspired by this though, DAMN

So far this is very difficult to keep track of. I know damn well I am not stupid, but trying to decipher anything in this book is proving challenging. Crazy that it was written in the 80s though

15 pages in and the words “messy bun” appear. will try to move past that but it might be difficult

i know NONE of the context and still i am having a wonderful time

i feel like i’m running out of breath as i read this

oh i am going to love this aren’t i

ok the action is picking up now i am worried im gonna be too stupid to grasp what is going on

you know damn well i love a heist

been forgetting polish so let’s do this

“Women can flay you, fray you to unrecognition, turn you outside-in so quickly you'll forget to remember why you exist. Women will hand you a bottomless well of pain with tears in their eyes. We can do anything; we can make mistakes; we are not immaculate just because we've been taught to be docile. Tenderness is a choice; it's what you choose when you have suffered enough.”

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous

so much is happening

slightly hard to follow but i like it so far

oh this is going to make me very sad isn’t it

WOAH MAMA

i dont remember the first 40 pages lmao
