I don’t usually read long series, because I truly don’t like to make that kind of commitment . This is a good story but depending on how this first book ends will determine if I continue to book 2.

This book did not have to be over 500 pages. At times I feel anxious when reading it because I know that after this overly long book, there are 3 more ….geez. This book intrigues me while also pissing me off🥴

My favorite genre but this is one racist book….im invested in the story but i get pissed every time i see a slur 🤦🏾‍♀️ HEAVY on the slurs

Are you kidding me? It was not the time for Bart to tell Reiner that 10 year old secret..he did that out of spite and anger. So let’s take an already highly emotional time and add even more to it? Petty……Reiner should whoop his butt!

Big Jake, in all honesty, you should wanna spit on Ben’s grave for what he did to your boy. Paying honor and respect to that man is crazy work..

Jamie hates Delia because she represents everything about himself that he hates! He looooves his white women tho..

If I was Seth, I would stop trying with Katia. She is annoying…do you want love or not? Does she wanna be single and sleeping with her mom forever?
Almost the end of the book and she is still playing hard to get even though this man has given her his time, attention, help……

Katia has the lowest self esteem, she doesnt even think she deserves happiness. Sad

Charles really has some audacity….and a bit pushy and controlling he is! Eliza should be careful in allowing him to manage her affairs. Since he has self appointed himself as her manager. Smh
