Does this get any easier to read? Does it become entertaining at any point? I'm reading this because I feel like I should, but I'm not liking it so far 😕

The parts with Leo are nice, I'm enjoying their banter. I could do without the whole basilisk part to be honest.

This is so deranged and I really should enjoy it this much.

Things are starting to get interesting but was it really necessary to have to read 1/4 of the the book before it happened? Also, I was promised spice, where is it?

While I love this world I kinda just want this book to be over so I can read something that's a bit less... well, less. There's a lot of world building and new stuff introduced all the time and it's getting to be a bit much at this point. I'll take a pause before Onyx Storm.

Why do I get the feeling my heart will be broken even more. Also, does Dain get to redeem himself. And please tell me that Bodhi doesn't die, I couldn't deal.
