Having a hard time with this book. Why is Colton so isolated? Where is this tight knit team? He gets hurt and they all (except for Wes) disappear? Fuck you, have a nice summer by yourself healing? WTF? The only person he sees is Nick, practically the only person he talks to is Nick. Wes and Justin at least keep in touch. That's messed up. I'm just supposed to ignore that for the sake of the romance?

As much as I LOVE complicated relationships like best friend's dad, Colton's inner thoughts about how Nick isn't his dad...like he's yearning for him to be his dad is bringing me out of what is supposed to turn into a romance.

Love series!

I couldn't put this book down, loved every second of it.
