Sort of feels like Kitteredge started writing a paranormal novel, then realised that it's overdone so tried to make it gothic realism. The inspiration is clearly there from Jane Eyre, Rebecca etc but some unexplained occurences just kind of made plot holes for me.

Still, a fun read!

I'm going to have to DNF this... the whole thing with The Sorrow is just a bit ridiculous for me...

Slow, but interesting so far!

Oh gosh why do I start books right before I need to leave the flat. So far it's been a little bit fast moving (introducing the love interest as some sweat gorgeous god in the first 5% seems to show that it's going to be more about the romance than the actually problems being faced.)

Not quite sure how I feel... so far poorly written and the only thing keeping me reading is how quickly the % bar is moving,,,

So far, so good. It's awesome to be back with Julie and Marcus and the stakes are high already!
