I am having a hard time reading this book. Saunders is a real good world builder and character builder, but all the details are boring me and I keep wondering when am I going to get to the story. Mind you, there have been maybe 1% story so far and the other 13% covering Chinese ways and the characters themselves. I am hoping all the build-up means something and it isn't empty words.

I think I am jumping to conclusions before I have even gotten that far in the book. For the record, I hate Quinn, I just want to strangle his damn neck. I have a feeling he has a lot to do with what is going on. I think he is working with that drunk, Paddy too. Like I said, jumping to conclusions. I am enjoying the book though. It's great.

Intense and with good reason. Why would three or more full grown men need to beat down a child? Sick!

Great book and so excited to read the rest of the series!

"The Brothers Menage" The story was good and I am sure I am biased as I am not a fan of Two Brothers. I didn't even know of this story until I got this collection, but alas I got bored. On to my next adventure! 3 out of 5 stars.

"His Big Bad Wolf" I really loved the story, I just wish there was more of a backstory for the characters. They covered it very briefly. I am sure this story would be even better if it were longer. 4 out 5 stars

"Celia's Connection" Too much sex vs storyline for me. It was worse when one of the men said that sex shouldn't happen so that they could all get to know each other but foreplay was alright. The whole thing was too fast pace for me to enjoy it and the plot just got buried in the sex as well. 1 out 5 stars

"To Steal a Prince's Heart" Another great read from the Wickedly Twisted collection. I love the gender switch and the storyline accompanied by it. Absolutely a deserved 5 stars!

Full review on the book page. "Bearskin" Roland covered that the sisters got arrested and that no one was putting up bail, but what happened to them? This had me wondering if I missed something. Other than that, it had a very sweet ending and I can only hope that there is more of the story to come. 3 out of 5

Pan's Curse" absolutely had me on edge the entire time I was reading! I didn't want to put it down. Between the great adventure through Neverland and the guy on guy action, it had my heartbeat racing and my blood pumping page after page. Great adaption to the classic!

It started off shortly after the last book, but I don't feel the urge to jump in I think I would need. I feel like, "Didn't Tara learn anything in the last month!? Why is she keeping secrets?"

Artemis' Hunt was a nice story, but I am super excited for this last one. Elle wasn't covered much in the previous books and I would really like to get to know her better. Hope this one doen't disappoint. Not too worried about that as the previous books haven't failed to keep me entertained.

Just finished Ashes of War and almost liked it more than War's Passion. They are about even right now. Both books are a 5 star for me and hoping the 2.5, Artemis's Hunt pleases the senses as the first two books ahead in the series.

Talk about annoyed. Running for her life, then she trips, but before she hits the ground she is bent over(I think), then she is sitting on some guys lap(don't know what position he is since all she wanted to talk about was his looks) She sees his crotch first(So Standing?) and then makes her way up his body to find him unconscious(Ok laying, but all you can think about is your lady bits?). Where did the panic go!?

Creeden has such a way with words. It didn't feel much like a Christmas short, but I was captivated by her writing skills. Can't wait to look into her books.

Poinsettias and Poltergeists 5*

The most Christmassy story in the collection so far and a great introduction to characters in a series I have to look up. Very short and sweet.

Left me confused and uninterested in anything to do with these characters.
