I always use the GR app, so I don’t know if it’s a new feature, or if it’s been out for a while and my iPad app just updated, but I just went to rate a book and FINALLY there is a .5 star option ! That took way too long!

After finishing my 1st and only Colleen Hoover book—It Ends with Us, I never wanted to read another Hoover book again. I had no desire to even watch the movie, or the others based on her books. I’ve heard Verity is totally different from her other books, and since I want to watch the movie, I decided to give it a chance. Almost halfway in, and I’m really enjoying it, but plenty of time for that to change.

I’m long overdue to read/listen to this classic, but better late than never!

Listening to the audiobook this go around, as a refresh before the movie is released next month.

I’m thinking this one might be a DNF for me. It’s starting off really slow, and the female narrator’s overly dramatic accents for some of the characters are kind of annoying.

I revived the audiobook from the DNF shelf to give it another try.

I think I’ll just wait to watch the show, because the writing is too juvenile for me. Plus, the female narrator is just… too flat. The male narrator is a little better, but the audiobook performance overall is bland. I returned it on audible and got my credit back to use on a different book. Sending this one to the DNF shelf.

I have a problem… I finished listening to 3 audiobooks this evening. I listen to more than one at a time, because I’m a mood reader. So… now I have to pick new books to start. Less of a problem and more of an inconvenience, really.

I read the book the first time, but I’ve heard that the audiobook is really good, so I’m listening to it now for a refresh before I watch the movie.

Re-reading the series before the final book in the Puckboys series comes out in April.

Maybe not the best choice to go directly from Riley Sager’s train mystery to this one, but I need to get caught up in this series, because I still need to review the ARC of the 4th book.

I’m doing a re-read of all of the Puckboys books before the last one comes out in April.

Reading this one again to refresh my memory, since it’s been almost 2 years since I first read it.

Is anyone else getting a ton of old emails from Goodreads? I bet I’ve already deleted 40 emails in the past 10 minutes, and they just keep coming in!

I’m not on GR to meet guys. If you don’t want to talk about a book, please don’t message me.

I think this is going to be my new favorite John Green book. I love the characters!
