This is an entertaining and easy read. I'm still trying to decide if I like some of the characters. I feel the character development is a little overdone, especially with the main character's family members, but the story is engaging enough for me to overlook that.

I'm reading this to my 2nd graders, so it's slow-going, but they're very into it!

At chapter 23, it finally began to get interesting.

Very slow moving. The only reason I haven't stopped wasting my time is because of the book's overall rating on Goodreads. It's very hard for me to get into though.

This is so hard to put down!

Chapter 18: holy turn of events!

Where's all the horror? Where's the suspense? I read a review about this being packed with mystery. Mmm, slight mystery, but as of now, a bit predictable.

eh. Written by the victim's psychiatrist, I think I've learned more about him than any other character. The narrator is pompous and just unlikable. I almost put the book down for good at page 64. It STARTS to get better at Chapter 16 (page 147). I'm seeing where this goes.
