Damned if I remember the full name of the anime though. Steampunk airship combat, young pilot and his co-pilot + mysterious white haired girl. War. An official congratulations to the Booksmugglers whose Kickstarter reached all stretch goals, and there were even some awesome pledges not taken (which I personally attribute to the way Kickstarter does NOT highlight when new rewards are added). They've already put out the call for submissions for their next story season :D

Congratulations to Andrea Höst for being a finalist for fantasy novella in this year's Aurealis Awards! I really think the Anthology The Towers, the Moon, in her 'Pyramids of London' world, which illuminates various facets of the main characters beautifully is not to be missed.

I love the closer look at the Kalrani programme and the family interactions and Aunt Sue (Andrea, I'll buy a book with her any time... what am I saying I'll buy anything in this series) and the background of Gidds Selkie and his family.
