Got to love initially disliking the character of Poppy and rooting for her through the rest of the book. Full review to come.

What a sad story. From beginning to end. And knowing this is based on a real story is just awful. Nothing like motherly love.

Interesting premise, curious how this ends up.

Think I am at the end of this book. I ended up having to redownload the ARC because it stopped at this point, but think the anthology is over. It was weird and sometimes the stories were very good and other times I was just left confused. Probably 3 stars overall.

What a great book. We get romance, magical realism, and time travel. The last Poston book didn’t work for me, but this was pitch perfect.

Hard to put this one down. Though the random sentence making things look super liberal in Maine keep throwing me. Based on who they keep electing I have questions.

I loved the set up of the drive in and Julia realizing the boy she’s been studying from afar has noticed her too. I didn’t want the story to end when we got there.

I loved the premise and the story work. Not given a lot of pages but each character felt real to me.

This one felt a little lackluster to me compared to the first two stories.

So far I’m enjoying. Anything with gardens definitely has my interest.

I may need to switch to something else since sobbing while reading these essays is not the emotional state I want to be in right now.

The intro by Alice Hoffman was really good.

Curious how Leigh is going to pull this together. So far too many things are going on that don’t work together. Think adding Olivia’s niece was a bad idea. She’s kind of annoying.

Disappointing sequel. The first book did a great job setting things up. This sequel was all over the place and super convoluted. Also think having Talia’s 12 year old daughter as a POV was a mistake. Still too many unanswered questions and I assume that means there will be a third book. I’ll pass.

I don’t mind the loose ends since I know there’s a second book in this series. I thought it was nicely woven together but a bit slow in some places.

Definitely taking time to reveal but I like that. The time jumps aren’t messing up my reading experience at all.
