I am LOVING the Captain Thornhill connection!

This is the second book I've read where the female character is awful in the beginning! I'm sure she'll redeem herself and I'll end up loving her but right now i see why her ex boyfriend and ex best friend got engaged, she probably brought out the worst in them. But I'll probably feel differently later.

She is just a terrible person!

This is going to be a rough read. I really don't like Betty. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but she doesn't deserve it. The story is very funny though.

I love all of these characters, but I don't like any of them very much right now.

I am so worried that the ceiling is going to fall and hurt Mercy on Colin is going to fall off the roof! Those are my predictions as to what could happen before they say I love you 😆

This book is kinda hard to read with this one sided feud going on. I guess I'm Team Palmer or one of the Palmerites. The longer I go without an explanation it just makes the Sawyers look like people who blame everyone else for their problems.

I'm worried I'm not going to like Gemma.

When your husband wants to go to bed but you're not even ¾ done with your book and things are going great for your main characters but there's so much of the book left so you have to go to bed with so much anxiety about what's going to happen to them!

I. Do. Not. Like. Raya. Seriously Raya, who hurt you!?

I know exactly how this is going to end but it's so funny and I love the characters so much, I don't want to put the book down to go back to work!

Every time I reread Austen, I catch new things. Maybe I just forgot since it has been more than a year since I've read this, but I noticed a couple small conversations between Mrs. Weston and Mr. Knightley about Emma. It really shows how much they care for her.

I'm very frustrated for the main character right now. Sure, she has her flaws but someone needs to say she's not 100% in the wrong. Her feelings are valid and there is no time limit for a broken heart. Especially if you haven't been around it for 8 years and you have to have all those feelings at once in front of everyone, including live TV and a whole lot of judgy people who know nothing about the situation.

Just started the story, three chapters in... I don't like either of the main characters but I love this story idea!

I think this is going to my my favorite from the series. So fecking cute. I'm to the part where they are getting married though he says he can never love her 🤣🤣🤣

He sighs. “Why does Rose do anything? Because of how it reflects on her.”

I'm thinking a lot about Rose's point of view. I think her mom probably wasn't the best mom but... I'm wondering if Rose is only telling half the story that makes her look good or if she plays the victim.

Also, poor Wally. I feel like if he had all the facts, he would have given Fern a different answer.

I'm looking forward to finishing this story.

Instead of texting my husband I'm going to say it here. I think the murderer was just introduced! I have to know, this is going to be a quick read!

I'm pretty sure we met the killer, I have two theories. If one of the characters isn't the killer, he's there to be an obstacle between Poppy and Alex.

Everyone is definitely giving me Stepford Wives vibes.

This book had me very intrigued from the start. But now I'm wondering if these people are just really weird or if it's her writing style.
