did everyone else read a different version of the book or something? how does this have such a high rating

the prose is a bit awkward at times and the dialogue is a little clunky but apart from that this is really fun

took us about 100 pages to get to anything resembling a plot

awful so far i actually don’t believe this book was ever in the hands of an editor

most gullible protagonist of all time oh my god 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i can’t root for someone this irritating

beginning of the book is pretty slow but it really picks up about 25% in i’m loving it now

ive been considering giving this a two or three star rating but the past few big reveals have dropped this down to a one star book and i don’t think it can recover 😭 it’s so shockingly awful i don’t know how anyone could read through the most predictable and boring story of all time and go yeah this deserves five stars pleaseee raise your standards!!
