I’ve been thrust into an alternate dimensional landscape and it’s bleeding into my reality! but really this book is already so uncanny

I feel so much of myself in Lauren, what a great main character to read this experience through. I usually can't stomach these types of stories but it is written so well; the story is fascinating. To the point, unforgiving, and absolutely haunting.

bored. idgaf about the lightwoods !!😩 i need more of will and tessa! also i miss when tessa was the main character … side characters are great but not at the expense of the main character you start the series with

I had to get past the introduction, but very quickly I am getting the hype. I had picked this book up multiple times and thought it wasn't for me yet again I was drawn to it and it wouldn't let me go without trying again. So glad I did, there is something in the core of this story that is already in my soul

I feel like I've read so much in just 70 pages, I'm looking forward to how much Pollan can pack into this

Ughhhh it was so good until now. The pacing was something I really loved about this book yet it feels very dragged on right now. I know we need to see Evike interacting with other people and be without Gaspar but.. everyone bores me except them sadly. Evike is kinda going through the motions of rekindling with her father and in the city under kings orders yet nothing actually has happened in the past 3 chapters lol

Man, this is good. This is what Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza should have been lolll. Actual science and spirituality coexisting in a readable, progressional manner.

I love Ava Reid! Such beautifully gory writing. I appreciate the monsters and both our main characters Evike and Gaspar. The continuous banter between them is strewn with undertones of religious differences and skewed perceptions of each other because of this. I also really love the difference of their morality and how that causes a friction that also somehow brings them together as well. Excited to keep reading!

I love how the author keeps things light and fun where certain topics typically are uncomfortable. I hope more people are exposed to readings like this to normalize women's sexual health

Within the first few pages I am invested! I like Adelina so far and her moments of fury and chaos are starting to creep up into the story. I'm hoping it will keep this pace and descend into madness by the end. We need more villain fmc!!!

damn what an ending... it was hard to finish that last chapter after what had happened. but a great build up to the series!

I'm spinning and jumping but crying and throwing up because it's almost over. I don't know how anything else will compare to this. Also the narrators voice on the audiobook has to be my favorite ever; she embodies Jude's energy perfectly.
