Three issues down. Not a comic book guy but enjoying this

Didn't want to read this one just based on the generic cover that looks like a video game. Apparently the cover was designed prior to that game. Anyway, I was missing out.

decided to do a reread since I've just finished rereading the hobbit. I've been away from the Legendarium for to long.

I hope it's good!

A happy coincidence that I'm reading this during the flood of news about the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity. I feel this book is enhanced by my hopes about what we'll learn from the MSL.

If I keep avoiding finishing this I'm jus going to abandon it. I want to like it, but 70% in and no luck so far.

The action sequence in chapter three was stunning. In a state of awed silence.

Fell asleep reading this or I'd be done by now.

I liked Song of Ice and Fire on audio so much I'm rereading another favorite series via audio.

Roy Dotrice is great as the reader, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in his cameo as the head of the Alchemist's Guild in the new season of Game of Thrones.

Rereading this since it's this month's pick for the Sword and Laser Bookclub. I liked it well enough the first time, but failed to find in it the qualities that make it so rapturously recommended by so many. Maybe this second run-through I'll be converted?

Started the audio version. I've read this book 7 or 8 times, this is my first time with the audio. Probably my favorite of the ASOIAF books.

Finished the first of three discs.

I like it, even if some sections are fairly dry.

Got this free with the videogame 'The Darkness II".

Enjoy my after-work tea so much I decided to learn more about the subject.
