I’m pretty disappointed in this. So much of nothing has happened and I just was hoping for something that this isn’t. I kind’ve feel …. misled in this. Like every so often I stop and ask myself what am i reading. Whats supposed to be happening? And why isn’t it happening…

I slowed burned the last part of the book. It always felt like I was returning back to an old friend who was telling me a story about her dysfunctional life.

After ALL the crazy stuff I’ve read in this book - this part angered me the most (lol). Now I’m not entirely sure what that says about me (lol). I just had to set the book down & stop reading.

Its definitely gotten slower now, almost like the author didnt really know what to do with this storyline at this point anymore, so it’s starting to drag

As a mother, I am constantly oscillating between awe & horrification. I have no idea how these children survived as long as they have in the environment

Interesting & well written, definitely have left me reflective

This is starting to slow down a bit

This part reminds me of the atomic bomb of 1945 & gives me a bit of anxiety. Not sure if that’s good writing or…? I don’t know. Part of me is ready for this to end but also have an appreciation for the attempt of Crouch writing about DMT & time travel in this way.

Ahh - I’m appreciating this part more than I expected myself to lol

I wish they increased the pace of this book instead of doing it day-by-day. So much could’ve been done with this and they limited the creative expression. One life so far is clearly better than the other when the goal should be making the distinction more ambiguous because life will have its equal good & bad for both lives not just one.

I was so excited about this book, but I’m at the point in my life where I’m already aware or doing the things he’s suggesting. A lot of this is discoverable with life experience.

He is taking a while to get to the point. I’m tempted to read the spark notes lol

The most entertaining part about this book is how Daniel Sloss is in complete denial about being a sociopath.
Yes, Daniel - You are sociopath. Just embrace it and stop using the fact that you’re a comedian as cover up, lol.

I appreciated every laugh this chapter gave me.

Loving every minute of this book, just hoping I complete it before my library rental is up. This book is taking more time than expected to get through and requires quite a bit of undivided attention.

In a parallel universe, Daniel Sloss & I are soulmates.

Ahh, this is a master piece - I’ve realized that pretty early on. Unfortunately I rented this book from the library, so I’m trying to cram as much time reading this on my day off as I can. I may consider purchasing it so I can get as much time as I need.
