Waiting to get the audiobook back on Libby

Listening to this while making honey nut squash ravioli by hand and pate. Callum was in a good mood so I managed to get quite a bit done!

Filling out my son's baby book and it has "favorite book" for one month. Well, Shōgun is the only book he's ever heard so that's his favorite!

Someone has a "half naked mermaid tattoo" what half is naked? The bottom half? The top half? One boob out?!?

Using the phrase "slept like a baby" but with the caveat of an impressive sleeper instead of one that's up all night is so funny to me, especially as I lay here at 4am with my three week old.

"I don't care who you send. Send someone, I want my son!
"Whose son should I send?"

I know I said no more ancient Greece.... But this one is different! This one is good!

There is so much interesting history in this book. I'm so glad that someone took the time to not only make sure that this diary was preserved, but to give context to everything that Martha had to say.
I'm really enjoying listening to this book.

I've never been a big fan of reading articles, but I could read Keefe all day everyday. I absolutely love his writing.

After reading giant fantasy books, reading something with places and dates I'm familiar with is actually kind of refreshing.

When you start a book but didn't check it out to yourself and then a patron calls and wants to check it out so you're just keeping track of where you are with Goodreads until it comes back.

It's winter! Time to read books about being really cold.
