Ich habe gerade The Invention of Wings: With Notes (Oprah's Book Club 2.0 3) ausgelesen und mit 4 Sternen bewertet.

Great Story, well researched with a lots of inspiring, eye opening and astonishing truths about slavery, the South and racism, but also exceptional people, who rose above the status quo and looked beyond the accepted truths in this difficult time in history.

Did not see this coming. Not a gamer, ...yet. The subject matter here really intrigued me enough to pick it up at a bookstore the other day. I was positively surprised. Got sucked right into the story line and can't put it down since. Very suspenseful but with substance and historic background.

Excellent read. Nicely demonstrates the power of meditation, positive thinking and simply letting go. Amazing things can happen if you give up the iron grip of control on everything. Fascinating journey of a man who went from facts and figures to total surrender!

Daniela is on page 32 of The Fed: The Inside Story How World's Most Powerful Financial Institution Drives Markets
So, only 2 chapter's in, it is both hair-and eyebrowraising what I'm reading about this organization that is The Fed. I'll have to examine this from a few different angles but what I've seen so far is nothing short of shocking...

So I'm starting to figure out my fascination with these books. The author has a very peculiar way of writing that has you route for the protagonist, which is usual... unusual is the fact that the protagonists are actually highly immoral and to some extend even criminal individuals. Yet, you find yourself oddly on their side. Very interesting viewpoint and smart writing on the author's part.
