Hmmm... detective books really aren't my normal thing. They are so slow paced... I mean, the description in In The Woods is lovely and the writing is good but I'm not sure it's a book for me.... it's not really keeping me HOOKED.

Hmmm OK... this is not what I expected.... it's quite philosophical and spiritual which I don't mind just not what I expected.

Oh my goodness. Chapter one and I am relating so much. Almost 30. Pretty much alone and lost.. just found out the love of my life got engaged. This book has come into my life right at the time I need it most.

Loving Lucy Foley's writing style!

Holy crap this book is addictive! Listening to it on my morning runs and don't want to stop!!

So instead of the alternating chapters featuring detectives this book has alternating chapters featuring a doctor.
This book is devastating already..... but brilliant. Mackintosh is amazing.

Nope...... seems horror books really do just go right over my head :( not from lack of trying!!!!

I'm definitely getting a N0S4R2 / Joe Hill vibe from this book. Writings good - but its bizarre and like most horrors I've read - I just don't think it's for me :(

It's a beautiful book but certainly not a thriller??

I keep trying to get into this book and there's nothing specifically wrong with it.. but my attention keeps waning! I lose the plot and there's a lot of characters to keep up with???

I have been transported to Paris... what a stunningly atmospheric start. Loving the authors romantic, lyrical prose.

I've had to put this one down for a while as my copy had a printing problem (all the pages were jumbled). I was enjoying the story but WOW there's a lot of characters to remember and keep up with?!

Insta-love to the max.... and the female narrator has such a high pitched squeaky voice :( kinda feeling like this particular COHO book might be meant for a younger audience... lets see

This book is highly unrealistic, unbelievable & silly.
I hated the MC. She was mad. The message this book delivers (no one has the perfect life) is cheesy & cringe-worthy.
I think I need to finally admit that I have started to go off typical 'chick-lit' books. I've been hoping that wasn't the case for a while now but I don't think I can deny it anymore. Every chick-lit I try just isn't as enjoyable to me anymore.
