time moves so quickly in this book it's hard to keep up. i keep having to look up what happened to some past characters to be sure that i haven't missed anything.

really, i hope this story is worth it. it's nice to read and magical and alluring, but i kinda wish to be gripped by the plot a bit more. it feels like things happen and then they stop happening, then they happen, then they stop etc etc etc

everyone has the same name it's driving me a little crazy

kind of enjoying this slow pace. hoping for it to be one of those let them cook books, like with East of Eden

reading lesbian classics for pride month. i'm interested in when the shift of this main character is going to be.

ok i'm kind of getting to the point where i'm like "where is this all going" and i have a few predictions (that i'm kind of scared to come true because everyone i know who has read this book is like 'i'm so curious to know what you'll think of the ending' like girl WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!!!) im scared
