Taking a break from this upsetting book to read a bit of another upsetting book. Why am I doing this to myself...

Let's start this classics ride and hope I won't regret it, or die before I finish this one at least.

Feels like Orwell's 1984, but set in modern Ireland. I'm terrified, but can't stop reading.

Well, it's not a masterpiece, but Robert Langdon's adventures are my guilty pleasure. Mystery, history, puzzles, science, murder(s), a pinch of romance... what more can a girl ask for?

I don't actually know how much of the book I've read because I was on page 150 half an hour ago. I could've chosen to read it in order, but the Baroness sequence is more fun, so I chose that reading option. Loving it so far 😊

I lost count of how many times I've already cried and laughed out loud. How does Backman do this?

I have been intimidated by the length of this book for a long time (and I love big books), and now I regret not reading it earlier. It's soooo fun!

This is why I never read romance. There is absolutely nothing worth thinking about in this book. You read it, forget it and move on to a new book (hopefully, a better one).
