Another awesome tale of magic, with a lot of the setting being at the old, decrepit Six Flags, with a trips to Elfheim and old Barataria, too. The Sentinels of New Orleans series seriously rocks.

Even though labeled young adult fiction, it is a good read for adults, as well. Yes, there is angst lol but a refreshingly small amount, as if this author knows that all teens aren't drama queen sighers. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

OMGs this book is a tremendously GOOD read! 75 more pages to geaux and already hoping for a sequel. Maybe no, as this is a legendary story unto itself. Still, I hope for more out of Alys Arden's pen!

I can handle the thought of an alligator using my porch when I'm not around. I'm not selfish. Gators have that deceptive, slothful look, as if you could get a running start in a contest with one. In fact, they travel up to 30 mph whenever the need or mood arises.
