Hard to put down. Suprisingly interesting.

For a while I was an ethical vegetarian, not focused on the nutritional aspects. Anyway, I can relate to her thoughts and justifications.

Boy, his early work is even meaner.

Wow, it suddenly got heavy. And more compelling.

I don't know if he's mean or funny, but I can't stop reading and laughing.

I beginning to fear that Mr. Thorne is a bit mean and might be slandering real people using their real names. Still funny, though.

Except for his childish political views, still extremely funny (and rude!).

I might have found a book that is actually humorous. I was literally laughing (out loud) just a few pages in.

This is fun. I grew up in Florida during the heyday of "tourist traps".

Now he's arguing that the Stoics are wrong because they aren't happy while being tortured!

I'm beginning to not be happy reading this book.

Tonight I'm contemplating migration. Birds, not people.

If you're fascinated by life, this is the book for you.

I'm beginning to feel he has a tendency to overthink things. I'm not pleased with his prejudice against positive psychology. It's much better to just change your life, then to take pills or spend years mulling over your childhood.

What a refreshingly honest, personal memoir.
