Another book, ostensibly for kids, that I really enjoy.

It's classified as a kids book, but I just love it and am learning something every page.

Gosh, I'm so jealous of his social life. Lunches and dinners with interesting writes and politicians and doctors. Evenings drinking till 2AM and sharing stories and insights.

This is great fun. Lots of insights into the literati of 1930's America.
F. Scott Fitzgerald, Upton Sinclair, etc.

His social life is already making me envious. Since Covid, and smartphones and apps, no one visits anymore.

I miss P.J.

I was only two pages into the forward when I was literally laughing out loud.

I can't read this quickly... and I'm usually a speed reader. Way too much information to ponder.

Making me think about things I never thought about before. Quite an interesting, well researched discussion.

Great title, a bit dense so far.

Already mind expanding.

I'm just jumping around, looking for ideas... tonight I'm doing a variation of beet and avocado salad.

Darn, I just clicked on the Trina Robbins author link and found out she has passed away.

Very enjoyable and thought provoking.

Although I'm confident that antibiotics have saved millions (including me) I'm become more skeptical about big pharma in general.

I may never do any of these recipes, but I'm getting lots of ideas for variations on my cooking.

A Goodwill find that is already very fun and interesting.

Food for thought.

Wow! Not always fun, but fascinating and very hard to stop reading.

I'm not sure I can watch any child actors now without feeling sorry for them.

Whew, I've been reading a lot of books by child and adult actors. Show business is a rough business.... All she wanted was to be home, playing catch with her Dad.
Fame is not that great.

This book goes from being very dense to quite chatty.
