Whoops! I'm listening to the audio version this time and Dr. Bell was given a male voice rather than the correct femine voice.

So far, this book is weird.. If you like crazy mysteries this one is for you.. I, however, was expecting something a little more like Singh's A Madness of Sunshine. Which I think of as a romantic suspense novel.. This is just twisty and weird and mysterious. I hope that eases up some or I may put this one on my did not finish shelf. Which I've never done with one of Singh's book before. Oh well, fingers crossed..

Just started rereading this one.. It's the only Nora Roberts book that I've only read once.. I enjoyed the story but the first part of the book literally makes me queasy.. Which is why I have yet to read books 2 and 3 of the series since I tend to like to read the books in order one after the other. But I thought they'd make for some good Halloween and Halloween Eve reading.

Ugh.. Why is it so hard to find a good high fantasy/epic fantasy romance series that's for adults. Not YA or New Adult but ADULT.. I want blood and violence, steamy sex scenes and magical lands and beings! I've found a few that I've enjoyed a lot like G.A. Aiken's Dragon series and T.A. White's Pathfinder series. But mostly I keep finding academy students and 17 yr olds. It's getting annoying.

Ever since I started reading this series (after the release of The Order of the Phoenix) I've wanted Jon (my hubby) to read them as well since I freakin LOVE them. But he's not much of a reader, so now I'm being sneaky about getting him to "read" them by playing the audio books for us both as we sit around and do whatever. We're part way through ch. 26 now. 😁

Grrr! Kindle unlimited is annoying me.. I've been in the mood for fantasy/paranormal romances lately and aside from Suzanne Wright's Phoenix & Mercury Pack books I'm having a hard time finding any books that aren't either YA, clean, or reverse harem books.. Which aren't what I'm in my the mood to read. If anyone has any suggestions to that end I'd gladly take them.

I love Shelly Laurenston/G.A. Aiken, and I really like The Blacksmith Queen.. Which is why I decided to re-read it.. Well, actually I'm listening to the audio book this time and despite living the story the audio book is annoying me.. Because ALL audio books produced this way drive me NUTS! If you're gonna use two narrators have the guy do the guy parts & the girl do the girl parts! Not just switching with the POV's!

God! I LOVE me some Shelly Laurenston/G.A. Aiken! If you like LOL paranormal romances and you haven't read her stuff you definitely should!

Was reading through JD Robb's In Death series, gearing up for her new release Golden in Death, the 50th book in the series, but I found they weren't holding my attention since I've read them so many times.. So now I'm on a Scottish historical romance/Scottish time traveler romance kick. Some I've found are pretty good, others not so much..

I'm 3 hours and 35 minutes into the audio version of this book and it's starting out fabulously!!! And so far unlike the previous book in the series which always makes me cry pretty much on and off through the whole thing I'm laughing a lot.. And loving every minute!

I have ceased with the moratorium on Karen Marie Moning books.. Which has been going on since October 31st 2012. That's the day after Iced was released and the day I finished reading it and vowed to never read it again. Which seriously ticked me off because I was in LOVE with the Fever series and her Highlander books.. But Iced both disgusted me and pissed me off. I hate it when my favorite authors do that!

Only a few chapters in but I'm lovin it! I 💚 miniature zombie goats!

A little nervous about reading this one.. I'm afraid she's going to kill someone.. I hate it when authors kill my favorite characters like Rowling did.. A lot!

Putting my writing on hold so I can dive into rereading the Mercy Thompson universe books by Patricia Briggs before the next one, Storm Cursed, comes out May 7th

Not currently reading anything.. I know *GASP!*.. that's got to be some sort of blasphemy coming from me. Right? but I'm trying my hand at writing.. Again.. Right now I'm reviewing/editing one I started a while ago, getting refamiliarized with the story & the characters before I continue from where I got writers block last time. I've got 78,930 words written (about 225 pages) so far.. we'll see how it goes :)

Just finished Fatal Reckoning by Marie Force (which was great) & after all the tears i shed reading that I need what you might call an emotional palette cleanser so I'm grateful Shelly Laurenston's latest release In A Badger Way came out today. Her books never fail to make me laugh out loud & I could use those laughs to help dull the grief over another loss of a great fictional character, I always hate that happening

just started fire touched and I freakin love the Intrasity part.. cracks me the hell up.. especially with the audio version :)

nearly finished with the 2nd disc of the book on cd version and liking it really well so far.. and i'm really hoping Dr. Noble is going to be a new character they see from time to time and not the bad guy in this story cause I really like him :)

am listening to the audio version and am a little disappointed, Will Chen is supposed to have an accent but even though Luke Daniels did the accent for him in the book where he's the main character with Kat he's not doing it now...

to be honest i'm not sure I can finish this book.. started it last night and it just can't keep my interest very well I keep getting distracted by everything little thing around me which is very unusual.. honestly I think I may just call myself finished and move on to the next book that catches my interest

its just not clickin for me right now maybe i'll pick it up again later
