I'm soooo annoyed with th book I'm listening to at the moment. Why the f***did Wes just leave and not just end THE BAD GUY??? He's high and not at his best? Just kill him and leave.
(percentage might be off, it's chapter 18 in the audiobook)

I'm bored - too much similar sex, unneccessary repeating emotional drama and a too stupid to live MC so far.
It really started good and the idea has potential but...well...and then there is this huuuuge plothole of the tracking spell. If Seth can use it, why doesn't the bad guy use it? I mean, they burn down Evan's house, they could have gotten something personal out of it beforehand. Don't know if I'll finish.

OMG - more often than not anthologies are a collection of short stories, a few good ones and several ...oh well...
BUT NOT this one. WOW. I'm not quite sure about the lenght of each story but they are all at least a good novella length if not more.
Each story reads like a perfect well rounded tale, very well crafted, entertaining, great writing.
I'm so in love with this.

Listening to the audio - I'm at that moment when I don't know if I want to continue. Right now it feels to me like River has swaped one abusive relationship with another. Why? Well, Terrence is definitely an ass and has abused River mentally. And Phil is not giving River what he needs, he can only provide for some of River's needs - but instead of seeing and acknowledging it, he's punishing him.

This book deals in a clear and very good way with being transgender that is amazing. It answers questions, it gives great insight in the mental process and it's difficulties, it's a help getting it right if you want to be supportive - and all wrapped up as a great romance with two adorable guys.

I'm not finished with the book - and I don't know if it's going to be 4 or 5 stars yet - but that doesn't matter. Let's be honest, we know about transgender, but do we really "know"?

So far....a lot of telling, a not very convincing story line and stupid little things that makes me want to slap the beta readers.

I had high hopes..."sigh"...I mean I've read other books by Anna Martin...but this one is lacking a good beta reader or editor. Lots of "telling" going on and POV changes.

This is not really my book. I've been close to DNF after the first 40%, then it got finally better and now we have a relapse....geez

The moment the author mentions a place in Germany where you literally grew up only a few kilometres away. Now I really hope it's going to be part of the story and I wonder ....because there actually was a saltmine that has been opened up again 1944 by the Nazis ......if he actually found this article and used it....curious ;)

So far...annoyingly boring. Where are the tough and bright guys, the snarky ones? Where is the action? What is Ash's hang up anyway? I take my comment about his not fitting girly voice back - it fits. He behaves like a teenage girl.

I can't get over the voice for Ash...geez...sometimes I don't even realize it's him speaking because he sounds like the one of the women....it annoys me :(

Just started the audiobook - didn't read the book because book 4 already was not as entertaining as the previous ones and therefore I wasn't really tempted. But I thought I'd continue the series on audio but really - what is this????

Not even finished the sample and I already consider DNF??? A first for me with JLH - but I hate lying MCs and looks from other reviews that this will go on for a while. Erm....no, makes me completely uncomfortable. Sorry.

A bit underwhelmed. So far the book alternated between Dex being stupid and Sloane alone...where is the fun, where is the banter. And now this? Seriously, can they even more fuck up? Huge parts are just not logical.

I know...I know...I have all my suspicions and I'm sure I'll be right but this just feels wrong at the the moment. I do love plot twists but this is too forced. They should be in his face, asking for an explanation, not carrying on like nothing has happened. This is crap in the middle of a good book :(

Seriously? I really hope that gets better because the start is crap...an arrogant ass, a struck mute sweety and a not requested "foot-job" under the conference table. Actually, I would have asked the ass to restrain his foot from wandering around where it didn't belong.

Words that kill the mood in a sex scene: Wrecking Ball, Miley Cyrus, Kayne West, Taylor Swift, Swiffer, Man of Steel, The Mask, Jim Carrey, Pepsodent....these are all so unsexy. Is this what the book is going to be? Name and Brand dropping? I hope not.

Not getting the allure of this one so far. *confused* All the fraternity staff is annoying and boring, why did Mark even join? Or why didn't he look for one more fitting for him? And why, oh why did a boy like Brandon join the Alpha dingbums? So far...I struggle to understand their motivations. Not a good start and I'm already at 29% :(
