SERIOUS PET PEEVE: I read the introduction, written by someone who OBVIOUSLY greatly admires the author/work, which - and I do not exaggerate - gives away the ENTIRE story. From the pivotal plot developments to the ultimate conclusion, it's all described in detail right there in the introduction. WHY SHOULD I NOW ALSO READ THE BOOK? Someone, please explain to me this standard, yet baffling, literary practice -__-.
