This book reminds me of the 1990's books. You get different characters POV. It's a fun book to read.

Chenell Parker can tell a story, and all you want to know is how it ends.

This book is good so far, not my usual read, but it's good and I am curious to see who done it.

This is typical Mary Monroe writing. Historical fiction written with a good story long before cell phones, television, and current technologies.

Not sure where this is going, but it's based in Atlanta. I wanted to read this since I enjoyed her YA novels.

The killer and story is always staring you in the face, but I can't connect the dots with this one.

I am enjoying this book so far. It takes place in the 1860's and a group of enslaved plantation workers just learned they are free. I have to see what happens next because the family who formerly owned them was to give the workers 10 acres of land for free per the deceased plantation owner, but will his child follow his wishes 🤔 ...I'll see.

This book is about 3 generations of family. A grandmother, mother, and grandson. They ech tell their point of view well. They each need each other in a strong way, but circumstances have then all disjointed. They need one another badly. I forsee a reconciliation between the mother and daughter.
