I’m excited to keep engaging with this form. This super drably titled book is realllly fascinating in the way it breaks down visual story telling and sequential pictures so far

Really compelling so far. It’s a soft scifi book materially about how we think about and learn about the past, and think about the present, and is a really easy story to fall into

Push through the beginning. It picks up noticeable once the pieces are set on the board

I’m still thinking about this 4 months later so I’m rereading it

So far it feels like a book 100% based on self acquittal
I’ve liked him on some pod save stuff so I’m tolerating it but

tbh I think I’m going to come through this with a view of someone who is smart and compassionate but not smart enough to tell themselves that they’re ruining America until it’s too late
