This isn’t going how I thought it would go, and at this point the plot is annoying me

I don’t think long multi generational family sagas are my thing. I also don’t understand the hype over this book, so far. It’s not bad at all, I just don’t love it.

This is not my typical genre of choice, but I’m really liking it so far! I am hoping there is some paranormal element to this, because if not, if this is just about a psycho serial killer, I’m really not going to like it…

This is written in a beautifully poetic way, and this is heavy. I’m shocked and enraged

In the beginning, I was getting a bit confused over the amount of characters, different POVs, multiple kings, etc but now I am getting more comfortable. John Gwynne does such a good job with pacing that I am never bored though. I’m very excited to finish this and continue the series

This is deeply unhinged and wildly addicting.
