the dialogue between main character and her friends is soooo boring and I finally realized it's because all they do is talk about men! MC will think to herself "my friend is going through a really tough time with her aunt's declining health" but then won't ask her about it and will just talk about "The Fun One", and repeat the words "The Fun One" 7 times on the same page. BORRRINNNNNGGG

Whitney is annoying, always freakin whining. Like yeah, you're in a scary situation but also, put on your big girl panties!! She is very inflexible about accepting new information and dealing with reality.
