Okay, I want to start this out by saying I absolutely loved her previous books especially The Nightmare Before Christmas. But this…it was so bad for the first several chapters I was yelling the word drivel. Absolute drivel to my 17 yr old niece who informed me she’d never heard me use that word before. I then played her a line of it. She is still laughing the next day. I am going to try to finish. Try.

I know the gist of what happens but never finished this book. I’m not really into it again! The first book remains my favorite book ever!

DNF. Once I realized the end was open as per a review I read, I knew it wasn’t for me. That being said, the writing was interesting but I found the main character kind of unlikable and kept making excuses for her bad behavior in the first chapter.

I just finished Foxglove Summer: A Rivers of London Novel (PC Peter Grant Book 5) and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished Moon Over Soho (PC Peter Grant Book 2) and gave it 4 stars.
