Not through fault of his own, but Dalinar is no longer my favorite literary character. My guy needs to *do something* because its been about 1.25 books since he has. Maybe its Hoid now, maybe its Adolin, maybe its Locke....we will see.

After book 5, I'll have to judge the Adolin vs Dalinar vs Cassius Au Bollona as greatest character arc ever.

On day 3 of book 5 and I think Adolin has passed Dalinar as my favorite character. Dalinar wasn't really present in book 4, but Adolin has had such a great trajectory.
