A few chapters in and this novel hopefully will pick up and start getting interesting. If not, might have to turn and burn.

Not sure on this. The style of writing is annoying, but I can appreciate the depth and texture. I really want this to be like a The Princess Bride but i don’t think it will go there. Just a few pages in,

Dang. Fun read and really pushes the whole Tarantino vibe. Besides names that change you are constantly going through what timeline?

Really liking this author’s style. Hilarious phrasing…stoked it’s already this good and I’m barely into the book. Biblically speaking of course.

I am really dragging my heels on this one. I will attempt one more try to see if it starts to pique my interest, but so far I'd rather watch the Puppy Bowl for four hours than keep trudging along on this one.

Just out of the gate, the intro from the author suggesting that if you have this book as an audio format in the car, and by chance the kids and/or grandma are along for the ride, to turn on something else. So far very amused...

It’s good, but a beast to read. Seems like a lot of repetitive conversations/descriptions that you keep reading through. I think it’s the introspective/intraspective parts - but it breathes life to characters constantly questioning if they or others are doing the right thing.
