There’s a lot of history repeating itself and it’s almost inevitable. Linton and Nelly are trying their best but Cathy is gonna Cathy.

For some reason, Britney Spears’s “Toxic” comes to mind.

This time around, I'm deliberately reading this to empathize with Cathy and Heathcliff. And Nelly f---ing hates Cathy, so maybe her being a menace is a matter of perception? idk, I'm having a totally different experience reading this now than I did my first read and I am THRIVING.

Heathcliff’s favorite Taylor Swift album would’ve been reputation.

I read the first three chapters with a Wuthering Heights ambiance video on YouTube, which showed the house on the moor with alternating rain and thunder and it was exquisite.

I know it's wild to read this and Crime and Punishment in the same month, but it's my last physical TBR book so let's goooooo

This is giving Don’t Worry Darling and I’m not mad about it (pun intended).

That chapter was adorable.

While I find Madison incredibly charming, I wouldn’t personally trust her with a restaurant.

I can’t wait for this book to be over.

Don’t be scared of this book, guys. It literally has a subplot that resembles There’s Something about Mary.

Honestly, I’m not sure what the fuss is all about with this book.

Am I going to finish it? Absolutely.

This feels like an Intervention episode.
