This is a very accessible classic and much easier to read than something of equal length, like War and Peace. However, it’s contrary to a core pillar of my reading taste—this book is too fucking long. It’s a limp to the finish line.

I’ve been consuming a lot of Zendaya content so I wanted to read the book I wrote with the kingliest of short kings.

I previously stopped listening to this but I’m now a girl who finishes things and really enjoys analyzing movie adaptations.

Every time I hit another 100-page mark, I feel like I’m making progress.

After this many pages I’m back in the groove haha

This book loves messing with my reading comprehension, that isn’t top notch to begin with.

Y’all, people are lying when they say this is 1200 pages of action. While there were exciting parts in what I’ve read so far, it’s a lot of set-up. So, if you plan to read this, just keep that in mind.

I got to say—the Count’s networking skills are unmatched.

This woman’s story is the epitome of first world problems and what happens to her is kinda cliche but I’m 10000% locked in.

Every character has clear definable motives and I love that. It’s refreshing.
