This book started amazing. The first 10% which is about 150 pages was interesting and compelling. Then Altheith finally claimed Soe and it turned into this weird slice of life where now the MCs are Altheith and Suna. It's not even a love triangle since Soe is not considered a love interest. There's a few caring (and random) moments with Sor and Adren. So I am confused as to who the main couple are.. which is not good

Hahaha started this and the first name I read is "Callum" I just finished "The omega king" by Libby Clarke who's Mc love interest is named Callum. Such a coincidence! Lol guess Callum is a popular name??????

Is it wrong that in only 10% of the book I laughed several times at the horsemans antics? Like should I be horrified from the gore and abuse? Cuz I think the horseman is sorta like a cute tsundere character from an anime. I'm sorta kinda hoping he and the girl end together but I fail to see how thats gonna be a thing. Like does he even eat?

Not bad so far but Alec is way too OP for me to have any real sense of danger. I hope we get a spin off of Kennard. That would be interesting 2 non uber powerful mega snowflake special vamps getting together. I like the world building still but like I suspected at the end of the prev book, giving Alec all powers under the sun and moon make for a very boring MC

Nothing has happend at all yet. Just paige reminding us over and over how desperate she is. Girl I got from chapter 1. And the guy so far sounds like a perverted creepy overweight bald guy who saw wayyyyy too much porn in his mom's basement. Oh well I'll keep going for now~

Carter's inner monolonge is long and kinda stupid and useless since a chapter before it was revealed that rip was madly in love. So all the angst in Carter's monologe seems extra. And im cringing so hard at the wrap up of the show. Like it's not cute, its embarrassing and so over the top I'm embaresed for them. Would have preferred the cliche ending where they won the show and walked off into the sunset. Almost done

This is adorable. Progressing a little fast but still adorable and fills you with easy happy feelings.

Totally hooked. A book that can make me grin with it's banter is one I enjoy reading. There's a fine line between witty banter and trying too hard it becomes filler, Grace is definitely witty and her personality is the best, liked her since page one. Julian is kinda "the guy" still but im ok with that for now. The way the book is written is nice and flowy so im waiting to know more about him.

So far we have the MC (who's actually described as not being that attractive and being self conscious about it) putting others into "hot" or "untractive" categories(because that's all that really matters~ how people look. *sarcasm) and now we have a 30+ year old teacher seducing one of his teenage students after inebriating them with alcohol. Well I gotta say, this book is golden so far *sarcasm LOL

I'm so confused as I read this. Is the Stockholm syndrome for the kid or for lindsay? And I can't get into the writing style at all. Its like random ramblings of a teen. But there's 3 books of this, so it has to have a plot, right? RIGHT?... 😭

I really dislike reading about a poor faithful woman pinning after a man who will never love her because the mc is such a mary sue and is the one who kindles the man loins. Like why put Marissa in there just to have her woe after warth who will never have her? And she has no respect for herself, staying and pinning after someone who makes her feel like shes dirty and they are disgusted by her.

Why do they have the cops POV... there's too many and not much happens on them. Beth's PoV is the most interesting one

The action starts! Although the reaserch and historical vamp thing of this book is a little thin. Im hoping they turn Alec in this book. Im ready for him to not be human. Cronin has turned into a literal dog since he's just growling all the time now lol

Still nothing has happened other than cryptic vamp child, but im holding on. Definitely a lot slower paced than book 1. Though why all the romance and steamyness happens off-page while theres oodles and oodles of just checking in on side characters to see what they're up to? Is beyond me.

And soo a child vamp appears~ Nothing much has happened tho. Yet!

Wow. I don't think the author realized but a few chapters back they were watching "blade" on Netflix and now alec is complaining that corin doesnt have wifi. You cant watch Netflix without wifi. I dont know why that glared me in the face but it really took me out of my reading bubble. Lol . Still love corin. And omg almost half the book and not even 1 kiss. Iron will right there!

Im soo in love with cronin! But like seriously. This book is so well written and funny. I like how suble but amusing the humor is. Tho the Jesus joke got old reaaaaaal fast
