Lisa Robitaille is 11% done with Spasm (Jack Stapleton & Laurie Montgomery #15)
So far I like the book. I find the concept very interesting as it is true to life. What the Russians have been doing in terms of biological warfare is a fact. Unless you watch 60 minutes, you might not know about it! Scary stuff! Almost as scary as our President, that many Americans voted for and still support!

The storyline is interesting. It’s about a women of Salem who didn’t conform and was considered a witch! No a lot has changed over the years!
Women are figuratively burned at the stake every day!

I’ve been wanting to read this book for a long time. It’ll probably take me a couple of years. It’s almost 1000 pages with small print.. The writing is very good, the character development is on point and even though I just started this book, I already feel like I am connected to the main characters. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞

Learning about my Italian heritage. It is not lost on me the courage and the back breaking work that it took for me to be able to sit in my king size bed with my comforter and six pillows to read this book. I’ve read this author before and I like his writing. The old country, as my grandparents used to call Italy, is a distant place in the memories of those who have passed.

I have a little over 100 pages left of this book. I’m really enjoying it. The writing is good. It’s a recount of the Edmund Fitzgerald, and its crew and what led to the faithful day of its sinking.
The usual suspects money and the unpredictability of life, up against the episodic fury of nature. The book is very detailed and somewhat tedious however It has short chapters, which is a bonus for me!

This is a true story and I remember the song by Gordon Lightfoot, The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. So far I’m very interested in the story maybe because I like the song! It’s also interesting to note I’m reading this as a blizzard is approaching Massachusetts!🤞

This book is perfect for the time we find ourselves in. A master at his craft, for the betterment of all of us. “War is treachery and hatred, the muddling of incompetent generals, the torture and killing and sickness and tiredness, until at last it is over and nothing has changed, except for a new weariness and new hatred.”

It’s OK easy to get into. I just don’t like mysteries. It says it’s a thriller. I don’t find it very thrilling either. We’ll see! It’s my book club read!

Very interesting book about a woman finding and using her voice. It’s an interesting concept how this book moves forward from the female main character becoming the wife of Jesus. Very well written and interesting.
So far so good.
