I think the book might be steamier than the show 😅

This could easily become one of my next favorite books!

I love being in this world and also experiencing the tandem read.

Not sure how many times I have read this series but this is the first time I am tandem reading and I love it!

Just started this book and I can tell its going to be binge worthy!!!

Its kind of a slow start but I am hopeful for a juicy middle 🙂

I loved this Netflix series and a friend told me the books were amazing... I am loving it already!

So it's definitely getting more and more intense. I really enjoyed the Eagles reference. The writing, in general, is very blunt and short, and some "big" words seem like they were just placed in it so that their were big words (if that makes sense). So far, those are the only 2 things that I would consider as pet peeves with the book. The plot and characters are interesting. I'm hoping for a great ending.

Honestly.... not my usual go-to type of book, but it's got me snagged. I'm hoping this is a hidden 💎 gem!

Backman's writing just puts me in my feels instantly. The way he makes you FEEL for the characters in such a sort time is amazing!

So addicting!!!! I had to find an ok stopping point because I have other books I am in the middle of reading. BUT, I finish one of the books in this series and NEEEEEED to pick the next up immediately 😅

So far, it's a little strange. The writing is very straightforward, and the descriptions get a little confusing. Overall, I am intrigued. In the first couple of chapters, I was wondering what exactly I was supposed to be "feeling," but in chapter 5, it starts to pick up. The plot becomes a little more investigative. I believe this is a mystery novel. So, I think the reader is supposed to be confused.

So far it's fun. Very slow. Not a lot going on or happening. Feels like maybe building up of back story for whats to come. Idk how I really feel other than I am hoping it picks up soon.
