Everything started off pretty great. I had some pretty high expectations coming in for Cooper and Ellery's story. The first half had me hooked but the further in I got, the more annoyed I got with Ellery. That whole scene post-game in NY with the gang pushing Cooper to be the one to apologize really annoyed me because he literally did nothing wrong and was the one who deserved to be wooed.

Really struggling with this one. It's probably because Austin really isn't a personality type I can immerse myself in and the relationship dynamic is a bit opposite to my usual

At this point I'm so over Haven. She knows her SO is in the mafia but cannot handle the really of what that means. I'll give her this - Luca does not tell her shit. But overall she seems to think she can have a fantasy life when she lives in the mafia world. She's a naive FL with zero concept of actions and consequences who only cares about what directly affects her happiness and get upset when reality happens.

NGL when I first saw how long this one was I was a bit hesitant because I know it requires more time than I have at the moment. I am however super excited that each chapter is a manageable size that I can sneak in a few chapters here and there. The character development is also nicely paced. Super glad I didn't put this one off until later ♡

It's cute, quirky and funny. Cha Minho is the right level of Demon Boss crossed with secretly caring. Yeseul's reactions and interactions are always entertaining and keep me wanting to read more and more. I've binged and caught up and now I'm hooked 🙃

So far this chick seems like someone who thinks they're smarter than everyone else bit really isn't. She's supposed to be desperate to get her child back but she's being all defiant and sassy. I don't get the sense that she's taking this situation seriously. I mean I get she knows the captor but your kid is sick lady. A little more haste and willingness to cooperate
