It's okay. Seems very fast-paced and fun. Not the best writing in the world,d but fun so far. I think that this King guy is the bad guy, and Nadir has to be her real dude. I think she is going to win the trials of course,e and not be with Atlas or eventually kill him

I’m tapping out. DNF!! This book is an emotional hostage situation. One more petty argument or Violet nitpicking Xaden like she’s on Real Housewives of Navarre, and I’ll combust. Her holier than thou vibes are at 11. Are there even other characters? It’s just Violet’s one woman show plus dragons as props and bargain-bin smut. I’m done. Send help. Or a better book.

I can't seem to even give one fuck about the characters any longer in this book. I once burned for this story and now I am like MEH. It's the same drull over three books. I want more dragons, more story and less stupid shit. The i want him but can't have him but he's hiding secrets to now we all are hiding secrets but it's okay because I love him. It's to much nonsense. So I tried, DNF for me.

A lot better than the first one but the apprehension of the use of her power is nauseating. Like we get it you hate hels power.

I am not sure what's happening. It's like a movie at this point. The heroine is a bad ass of course there is a gorgeous brooding male interest that happens to be king or second king or whatever. FMC is of course got a secret that we have to figure out. I am sure she is the supreme being chosen one that everyone has been searching for. So far feels very assaisn blade and major celaena sardothian vibes.

This sounds like a 7th grader wrote who had a book report due the next morning wrote it. The author clearly is not in love with this storyline or is out of gas because the magic of the first book is gone. The two mains so far keep saying the same thing and why is Verena aka Naya suddenly trusting someone from the rebellion she is running from just because he said so? Weird. Purple prose so far!
