So far I am very entertained, but not yet impressed.

I feel this is the British TV Fawlty Towers but done with extreme horror content in Texas. The background writing on legalizing necrophilia, how folks react, and some of the interludes into other guests is very well done and not as gory, which I appreciate. The main character (Ellis) is brooding and uncommunicative. Not my jam. Use your inner dialogue to tell more about your feelings and rescue mission plans please!

I feel like every robot to robot interaction in this book is like when I fight with our Google Home device because she doesn't understand me... or chooses not to understand me... despite me being 3 feet away and clearly articulating. Endearing, but cumbersome after a while.

Also, the story is almost starting to feel like a fancy Fallout fanfic starring a Mr. Handy (specifically, Wadsworth). Good? Bad? Will continue.
