I thought I was going crazy for a while. I knew I had read this story already, but this was a new book so there was no way I had read it. Turns out I had read it before in Games Untold. Good thing my memory is horrible and I actually enjoyed it the first time. I usually hate rereading books, but this isn't bad - it's entertaining and I didn't post money for this book.

I'm not really feeling this book. It doesn't help that this is part two of the previous book and I don't really recall the previous book that well, probably because I didn't really care for that one and didn't find it engaging either.

It is readable. I cannot say that it is all that engaging. It's turning out to be a book that I think I will read and forget immediately afterwards.

Minus my moral issue with the first book, these are cute books. If I had read these as a teen I probably would have loved them. As an adult I have to suspend belief quite a bit. There are times I want to roll my eyes as people openly talk about their personal lives and especially their crimes to her. But it is still readable and cute.

I already have some problems with this book. 1. The author jumps around in time and ideas. I've actually gone back a page a few times because I thought for sure I accidentally skipped ahead by accident. 2. This book is completely written from researching other books/articles. There are such great first account books out there. I'm feeling like this is going to be all regurgitated and not a well written regurgitation.

I can see why this book ended up on a read this not that list as a "not that" pick. It's very verbose at times and I have found myself skimming already because I've found myself bored. I considered DNFing the book, but at this time I'll keep reading. I'll see if I change my mind....

I feel like I have read a book with a similar scene where a girl is asked to meet a boy in the town center and the boy never shows up b/c it wasn't the boy that sent the message. However, nothing about the rest of the book feels familiar. I am enjoying the book
