I was expecting more- emotion, depth, etc. Maybe it's coming, I've only just read about one person passing through the photo shop. Thankfully, the story is short, otherwise, I'm not sure I would finish.

This book is not what I expected from the blurb, but it is still interesting. It is a slow burn. Every so often we jump into the future so we know what is going to happen which is what is piquing my interest, otherwise I think I would have been bored.

It's ok. If I had read this in high school I probably would have liked it much more.

I wasn't sure about this book in the beginning, it didn't grab me. It wasn't until the 2 story lines started coming together (about 30-40% of the way into the book) that I started becoming interested in the story.

Nightmare inducing. The story isn't shocking, he pretty much lays it all out for you if you pay attention. However, the environment he paints in this book, even when you know fairly well where it is going, is still anxiety inducing. I have not slept well while reading this book. It is a book that I am rushing to finish so I can sleep again.

Anxiety inducing book. Adams does a good job of creating the environment, an environment that is creepy even without the killer.

I have added and removed this book from my TBR list many times. The premise is intriguing, but the rating score has made me keep removing it as the score just keeps dropping and it's now below what I'll normally read unless I've read and loved other books by the author. This premise has so much potential to be great, but I'm not sure the story is going to live up to it. I want more than it's giving me.

I can see how this book won awards last year. So far it's a really good story and fits the writing style and storyline premises common in other award winning books.
