DNF. This author has an inspiring story to tell about how she overcame extreme poverty and rose to incredible success. I wish she would tell it, but she is almost nowhere to be found in this story. It focuses entirely on everyone else: her grandma who cared for her, her mother who couldn’t be there for her, the boyfriend who didn’t believe in her, and so on. Where are YOU in this story?
