Don't like the book that much. Maxine is let down. I liked her in the series, but this one really makes her seem sketchy and not very smart.

The amount of time being spend on Lucy makes it a Lucy Kinkead book.

Hannibal Lector was definitely the inspiration for Hatcher. Since he first appeared that was evident. Riley keeps going back like Clarice to get help.

Really, Riley should know by now her going undercover is not working.

Every book describes Hatcher, and the victims, the possible killers, but the books do not describe Riley.

If you start reading this book and not the first, Riley is a blank piece of paper.

How could any doctor clear Riley to go on active duty?
Why when she gets flashbacks or feels uneasy she asks herself if it is her PTSD?

For people who have been agents for years they are not that bright.

They got a very valuable clue, and that one clue would help them to easily disqualify people from being Scratch.
